DiaLog is an iPhone app designed to make living with diabetes easier. Developed by John Dattilo, who is a Type 1 Diabetic himself, this app combines a carb counter, calculator, and blood glucose log all in one convenient platform.

One of the standout features of DiaLog is its carb counting functionality. With over 120,000 different restaurant items to choose from, users can simply tap on each item they consume, and DiaLog will automatically add up the carb count and divide it by the user's carbohydrate ratio.

In addition to carb counting, DiaLog also allows users to log their blood glucose levels. What sets it apart is that it automatically sends this data, using HealthKit, to the iPhone Health app. This integration allows users to view graphs and analyze their blood glucose trends more effectively.

Another useful feature of DiaLog is the ability to sort blood glucose readings from the last 30, 60, or 90 days. This allows users to track their progress and view important metrics such as A1C, minimum, and maximum readings.

For those who prefer to eat at home, DiaLog provides a built-in calculator to help calculate the proper dosage for a meal.
